Give to the Promise

The Mason County Promise Zone receives state funding from local tax dollars to support the scholarship, however, for students at West Shore Community College, our state funding can only be used for tuition, mandatory fees and limited educational supplies.  Scholars need wraparound support to be able to succeed in college. To support student success at the college level, we depend on donors like you.

Two Ways to Give

MASON COUNTY PROMISE FUND: The Promise Zone welcomes support from generous donors through our fund with the Community Foundation for Mason County.   To give to help our Promise last, you can provide your donation through their secure site:

https://cffmc.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=1950&sorg_id=1099

MASON COLLEGE ACCESS FUND: The Mason County Promise also offers a scholar emergency fund through our Mason College Access Network partner.  This fund helps students who are Promise Scholars at West Shore Community College to manage financial hardships and barriers like transportation, housing, and other emergencies in the short-term, which can affect their ability to complete college and their long-term success.  These funds are awarded directly to scholars through WSCC.  To donate, please click on the secure donation site: https://cffmc.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=1959&sorg_id=1099
